A friend of mine asked recently: 'Do you also have street art on your site? Like murals, by an artist, portraying sportsheroes?' The answer was 'no' at the time, but not anymore! Brazilian street artist Paulo Consentino is the first streetartist with a profile here, and deservedly so!
Paulo is best known for his work on the walls of the Congonhas airport in Sao Paulo, in celebration of the 2014 World Cup. When arriving here you will be welcomed by huge graffiti murals of Brazilian footballing legends like Ronaldo, Cafu, Pele, Bebeto and Romario.
Recently he painted a beautiful mural of Leonel Messi in Argentina. The mural adorns the wall of Escuela Nº 66 General Las Heras in the city of Rosario. The elementary school unveiled the 430-square-foot mural in honor of their exceptionally famous former student.
Paulo has done many more murals and is contantly traveling the world and doing more projects everywhere so be sure follow him on Instagram and Facebook to see more of his work and his future work! Honored to have you here on Art Loves Sport as the first street artist!
