It's officially the last NBA season of Kobe Bryant aka the Black Mamba. Arguably the best Los Angeles Laker ever. And there have been quite a lot of stars there! So to also salute the living basketball legend, Sportsong of the Week #39 is 'Kobe Bryant' by rap artist Lil' Wayne.
Lil' Wayne aka Weezy dropped this track right before the 2009 NBA Finals where the Orlando Magic faced the Los Angeles Lakers. In Game 1 Mamba scored 40 points as he led the Lakers to win the series in five games.

He entered the NBA directly from high school, and he has played for the Lakers his entire career, winning five NBA championships.
