The excitement I got during my search for sports inpired art was at an all time high when I discovered I could feature Jean-Michel Basquiat! Absolutely one of my favorite artist of all time! I still dream about his exhibition I saw in Musee D'Art Moderne in Paris.

The works to enjoy here portray two boxing legends: Cassius Clay, better known as Mohammed Ali, and Sugar Ray Robinson! 

During his short but prolific career he was part of the pop-art movement in which a lot of sports stars where subjects (see also Andy Warhol).
