March Madness is the most exciting time in the NCAA Basketball season. It's win or go home, there are upsets, surprises, stars are born, stars fail hard. Sportsdrama in its ultimate form. The new season is around the corner so to get you excited already for march Sportsong of the Week #20 is 'One Shining Moment' by the late Luther Vandross.

The song was originally written by David Barrett. CBS Sports traditionally plays it at the end of the coverage of the championship game of the tournament. During the scene where the winning team's players cut down the nets, with a montage of highlights form the tournament. Teddy Pendergrass and Luther Vandross both did remakes of the song. Since 2011 the Luther Vandross version is the one that's being played. It is believed to be the last song R&B legend Vandross recorded before his stroke and subsequent death. The lyrics accompanied by the in game footage are amazing, so take (one shining) moment to take a look at the video and just let the goosebumps come over you!
