Kamp Seedorf @ Amsterdam Museum

Dutch guerilla graffiti collective Kamp Seedorf has made it into and onto the official walls of the Amsterdam Museum! Since the 12th of December their seven metres high portret of young Clarence Seedorf will hang in the Schuttergalerij! Respect!

This is the same portret they made at station Weesperplein, which the municipality removed after only two days, because of graffiti being illegal. Tom van der Molen, curator of the Amsterdam Museum, thought this was a real shame, so he decided to give it a place at the museum. This way the museum wants to start a discussion about art and vandalism and about who owns the public space.

It will stay there for at least a year, so be sure to go take a look!
